  Despite the food being very good, the service was extremely poor. We had to ask several times to take our order or inquire about where our food was. It bordered on racism for non-Jews. We waited 45 mins to get very simple breakfast items, and the restaurant was not packed at all. There were empty tables when I arrived. I will say that it is a very early place as it gets packed well before 9:00am on a Sunday, by 10:00am the place was virtually empty.

  Vert Cafe in Surfside is a dream for anyone gluten free. They have so many delicious options and nothing feels like a substitute. Everything tastes fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully made. It’s such a relief to find a spot that truly gets gluten free right. Highly recommend!

  As a gluten free, kosher keeping person, I have to say this place is a gem! Almost everything can be made gluten free, and it tastes so good!! The service was great, Sarah was wonderful. And it felt so good to choose anything I wanted from the menu! I wish other restaurants would follow Café Vert's lead.
